Maitland Business Chamber’s July Networking Lunch

On the afternoon of 29th July, the Maitland Business Chamber hosted its highly anticipated Networking Lunch, drawing an impressive crowd of over 90 members from the Maitland Business Community at the newly renovated Easts Leisure and Golf Club.

 

The event was held with a focus on providing crucial updates and fostering connections among local business leaders. The MBC would like to thank and acknowledge the Gold sponsors of the July lunch, Watson Wealth.

 

The Maitland Business Chamber also had the honour or introducing and officially sashing of the new Maitland Young Woman 2024/Miss Maitland, Caylin King. Maitland Mayor Philip Penfold performed the official sashing.

 

The highlight of the luncheon was the presentation by Jeff Smith, the General Manager of Maitland City Council. Mr Smith delivered a comprehensive overview of the council’s budget for the 2024-2025 financial year, alongside insights into the city’s economic development strategies.

 

Following the presentation, attendees had the opportunity to network and engage in discussions about the implications of the budget and strategies for their businesses.
