Australian National University are currently recruiting workplaces to participate in our trial of a new 20-minute online program (Helipad) to support mental health and improve help-seeking in workplaces.

Mental health conditions have a major impact on Australian workplaces – costing approximately $11 billion each year, including $4.7 billion in absenteeism, $6.1 billion in presenteeism (working while unwell) and $146 million in compensation claims.

Many employees are not aware of what to do when they are experiencing poor mental health, and this is where workplace education and training can help.

A team of researchers from the Australian National University in collaboration with researchers from Black Dog Institute, Deakin University, Monash University, The University of Melbourne, and MAGNET, the Mental Health Australia General Clinical Trials Network is conducting a research study to test a new online program to support mental health and improve help-seeking in workplaces.

Australian National University are currently recruiting 30-36 Australian workplaces who have at least 50 employees and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for the study.
