A Big Moment for Maitland – Introducing Courage in Action : Mentorship in Motion

 

 

There’s a defining moment on the horizon for Maitland’s business community, and it begins at Women in Business 2026, where the Maitland Business Chamber will officially unveil Courage in Action: Mentorship in Motion, a landmark 12‑month leadership and mentorship program designed specifically for the women of our region.

Developed in response to years of conversations with local women, businesses and community partners, the program addresses a clear and consistent need for stronger networks, real mentorship, and visible pathways that build confidence and leadership capability across Maitland.

Courage in Action brings this vision to life by connecting 10 emerging leaders with 10 experienced mentors for a structured, guided journey that strengthens confidence, broadens professional networks and elevates the visibility of women across our business community. Rather than focusing on technical skills alone, the program is built to foster personal growth, leadership identity and meaningful connection, supporting women not just to succeed in their roles, but to step boldly into the influence and opportunities shaping our region’s future.

As we launch this regional‑first program, the Chamber is also inviting organisations to join us as foundation sponsors. Sponsorship directly supports the development of local women while helping us share the stories that matter – real, powerful mentee journeys that highlight growth, courage, achievement and community impact. These stories will form an inspiring narrative of Maitland’s emerging leaders and the businesses who stand behind them.
