Choose Tourism NSW – Development Program
Funded by the Commonwealth Government and delivered by Destination NSW, the Choose Tourism NSW program will address industry workforce shortages by encouraging Australians to pursue a career in the visitor economy, while helping operators retain and upskill their staff.
Choose Tourism NSW expands on the success of the 2022-23 pilot program tailored for the NSW South Coast, the new rollout will include a range of diverse initiatives to help bolster the tourism sector workforce in regional areas across the state.
A session is scheduled to be held in Newcastle on Friday 21st June at Earp Distillery – the event is a full day program commencing at 9.00am to 5.00pm, followed by networking at 6pm and is free to attend.
The program will include presentations from experts who will practical examples of how you can align your business to attract and build a skilled workforce through a positive workplace culture, strong business practices in customer service and the latest technology available to attract forward thinking employees.
