Thank You for your Support in 2023!
President of the MBC Michael Maffey and on behalf of all of the MBC Executive Committee wanted to that you for your support in 2023.
“A very big thank you, to all of our members for your support and participation at our events throughout the year.
I would also like to thank my fellow Executive Committee members and Kate for their tireless work this year.
In 2023 we had 2 new committee members join us: James Brown & Candice MacFadyen.
In 2023 the MBC has gained 25 new members and plans to grow throughout 2024.
Some of our Flagship Events included our:
- Women In Business Breakfast,
- Youth and Business Lunch in April,
- Our Men’s Health Lunch and
- Our Small Business Summit.
We enjoyed trying new venues this year, like Mutual HQ Building & Heritage Gardens Nursery with great success & feedback.
We held workshops in September to help out members develop new skills and knowledge.
Our 2024 calendar of events is shaping up with some different formats and venues, so watch this space.
Our first 2024 event will be on 9th February – keep an eye on emails & Socials.
The main event for 2024 will be the 75 year anniversary of incorporation in June. We can’t wait to celebrate the longevity of the MBC with you all.
