The Maitland Law practice known as Vile and Vile Solicitors was formed in 1990 as a partnership between June Vile (who began her own practice in 1977) and her son Andrew. In 2026 Vile and Vile merged with NSW legal firm Evans & Wislang. Founded in 1984, Evans & Wislang is a well-established legal and conveyancing practice with a long-standing reputation for providing trusted legal advice and practical solutions to individuals, families and businesses across the Hunter region and New South Wales. Originally based in Adamstown, the firm has expanded its footprint with offices in Newcastle, Maitland and Sydney, servicing clients across a broad range of legal matters.

Our Committee
The leadership of Maitland Business Chamber comprises an elected board of up to 12 members including the President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary and Executive Members who commit on a voluntary basis.
