Member Profile
Our goal is to preserve Maitland's built, natural and cultural heritage.
Our three major projects are The Verandah Project, The Red Cedar Project and Mapping Maitland:
*The Verandah Project involves helping local businesses restore iron lace verandahs back to their heritage buildings (if their building originally had one).
*The Red Cedar Project involves restoring dry-rainforest stalls and koala feeding corridors back in the Maitland LGA.
*The Mapping Maitland Project involves recording the history of buildings within Maitland's five Heritage Preservation Precincts, (1) Maitland, (2) Lorn, (3) Bolwarra, (4) Morpeth and (5) East Maitland.

Our Committee
The leadership of Maitland Business Chamber comprises an elected board of up to 12 members including the President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary and Executive Members who commit on a voluntary basis.

Can Do Business
We provide comprehensive and ongoing support to local businesses in the Maitland region by lobbying all levels of Government, representing the local business community and connecting businesses within and outside our region.
