Slow Food is an international movement with communities (groups) in over 160 countries across the world. Each community - like Slow Food Hunter Valley - does what it can in its local area to support and promote the ethos of “good, clean and fair food for all” along with our regular Maitland Earth Market. We do this through advocacy, education and the promotion of biodiversity.
With around 65 paid members and 600 friends, our local Slow Food Hunter Valley initiatives are well supported and our regular events and social gatherings are well attended. We welcome you to join us with your ideas and energy and become part of a friendly and dynamic group of people.

Our Committee
The leadership of Maitland Business Chamber comprises an elected board of up to 12 members including the President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary and Executive Members who commit on a voluntary basis.

Can Do Business
We provide comprehensive and ongoing support to local businesses in the Maitland region by lobbying all levels of Government, representing the local business community and connecting businesses within and outside our region.
